Create a Configuration Snapshot and Attach It to a Ticket

A System Snapshot of your configurations will enhance the efficiency with which VT Support can help to resolve your issue. Please complete the following steps:
  1. Navigate to System Development > System Snapshot
  2. Select New
  3. Select Create
    Note: You may receive a message saying "Snapshot definitions out of date..." If so:
    a) Go to Tools > Snapshot Definitions
    b) When prompted with "Are you sure you want to regenerate snapshot objects," select OK.
    c) Wait for the concurrent program to complete.
    d) Select Create again
  4. Name the Snapshot (for example, "Prod Full")
  5. Select the Source as * All Configurations
  6. Select Create
    Note: If you had to regenerate Snapshot Definitions, you will receive a "Snapshot Failed - Error ORA-04068" message. If so:
    a) Navigate back to the Snapshot tab (since the Tables tab will have the focus).
    b) Select Create again.
  7. Wait for the "Snapshot created successfully" message, and then click the Export button in the bottom right hand corner.
  8. Save the file as prodexp.xml.
  9. Compress or zip the file, and attach it to the ticket.
